What goes into the cost of a ceramic coating?
There are two main components that go into the cost of a professionally installed ceramic coating, cost of materials and labor. Generally speaking, the higher the quality of the coating, the more expensive it will be, as they tend to use much higher quality raw materials in the coating formulas.
Our ceramic coatings use only premium grade raw materials and are some of the best coatings on the market. We use coatings from IGL Coatings, and we combine them with our experience, knowledge, and know-how, to provide our clients with the very best in ceramic coatings for automotive, marine, and more!
Beware of the “cheaper options” out there, as there are a lot of lower end, less quality coatings on the market, and be very careful of any ceramic coating claims being made by car dealerships. The vast majority of the time, the products they are selling are nothing more than basic paint sealants that will not hold up any where near their claims. They are often applied to the vehicle by a porter and the vehicles are not polished, nor are they prepped properly. The dealerships are selling the dream in hopes that you won’t go back, and even if you do, it costs them nothing to have their porters reapply a cheap product.
A good, high end ceramic coating should be purchased from a professional detailer, and you should expect to pay a premium price for a premium product. Cost should not really be the deciding factor when selecting a coating, finding a reputable detailer you can trust, who uses nothing but proven, high end products, and who stands behind their work and helps educate their clients should be the first consideration, then find a package or coating option that fits within your budget with their help and expertise guiding your decisions.
