We get calls periodically from people who have taken their vehicles to a high volume, "bargain" shop who have had really bad experiences. This 94 Regal was the recipient of one such shop. The customer took it in looking to have swirl marks and scratches corrected, however, what they received was arguably worse than what they had when they took it in. In addition to failing to remove the existing swirl marks and scratches, the detailer also imparted some of their own blemishes in the form of very fine swirl marks that we refer to as holograms. These are swirl marks that literally look like holograms sitting just above the paint surface.
